Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 16 ounce can refried beans
- 16 ounces guacamole homemade or store bought
- ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese or mexican cheese blend
- ½ cup diced tomatoes fresh
- ½ small yellow onion diced
- ¼ cup sliced black olives
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the cream cheese with sour cream, mix until combined. Remove ¼ a cup of the mixture and set aside (or put it in a pipping bag, you will use this to make the spider web at the end). To the same mixture, add taco seasoning and mix until combined. Set aside.
- To a pie dish, add a layer of refried beans. Smooth out the top with a spatula.
- Then add the cream cheese taco mixture, and smooth out the top again.
- Spread the guacamole carefully on top, and smooth out again. Then use a knife or a toothpick to create a patten for the spider web.
- Use a piping bag to pipe out the reserved cream cheese mixture in a spider web pattern.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on the edges of the pie dish to create a circle, top with diced tomatoes, diced onion, sliced black olives, jalapeno, and cilantro.
- To create a spider, use a whole olive (pitted or unpitted), and then add slices to add legs. Cover and chill under ready to serve. Serve with tortilla chips.
