Ingredients
- ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
- 8 ounces sliced deli meat, a mixture of pepperoni, salami and sliced ham
- 2 cups (250g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- marinara for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
- Roll out dough into 12 x 15 or18 inch rectangle. Spread the pizza sauce, then layer with the meat, and then the cheeses.
- Roll up the dough as tightly as possible, starting on the long side. Place the rolled stromboli on a baking sheet, seam side down, then score the top with a paring knife to create vent holes. Drizzle and brush olive oil, and sprinkle a little parmesan on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Allow the stromboli to cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving with a side of marinara sauce.
