Grilled Halloumi

Ingredients

  • 8oz (225g) halloumi block sliced into ½ inch slices
  • olive oil spray

To Serve

  • pita bread
  • tomatoes sliced
  • cucumber sliced
  • olives
  • fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Slice halloumi cheese into ½ inch thick slices.
  2. Grease the grill grates and light the grill.
  3. Grill the slices of halloumi for 3 minutes on the first side without touching them. Then flip and grill for 3 more minutes to get beautiful grill marks on both sides.
  4. Serve with fresh sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and fresh mint leaves. If you like, drizzle with olive oil and fresh black pepper.
