Ingredients
- ½ stick (55g) unsalted butter melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons light brown sugar or honey
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic granules or powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- ¾ pound deli sliced roasted turkey
- ¾ pound sliced havarti cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C, and grease a 9×9 or 7×11 inch baking pan/sheet (if you don’t have either, then use 9×13).
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey or brown sugar, poppy seeds, minced onion, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Slice the rolls in half using a serrated knife to separate the tops from the bottoms.
- Over the bottom of the rolls, spread the mayonnaise
- Then layer half of the turkey, all of the cheese, then the remaining turkey slices. Cover with the top of the rolls.
- Brush the butter mixture over the tops (or pour it over the rolls), cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil, and bake uncovered for 10 more minutes or until done/golden brown. Watch the sliders so they don’t burn.
